Supposedly we’re in the middle of the worst drought for 30 years and need more rain, but I just want it to go away. I’m so bored of being stuck indoors. u_u

Darlene's home!
She seems to be feeling very sorry for herself, but otherwise she’s doing good!
She just needs to be kept rested for the next week or so to avoid any complications. There’s also still a risk that the stones could have caused damaged to the lining of her bladder, so we’ll have to wait and see if it has when she gets her checkup.

Hope everything goes well. Fingers crossed for you and your beautiful dog, I know lurchers/sighthounds can be sensitive to aenesthetic, and the vets can make sure they keep that in mind. :) Update us when she gets home!

Darlene's gone for her surgery.
Hopefully it goes well.
Only worry is that she’s very sensitive to anesthetics. One time when she was given a mild sedative, she collapsed and almost had a heart attack. That’s how sensitive she is x_x She’ll probably be fine, though~

I was just feeding her, and she was so excited I had to grab her to stop her falling on the floor, and she turned around and bit my hand. Actually drew blood this time, although I still didn’t feel anything. Anyway, she had a little chew on my hand, worked out I wasn’t a mouse and let go, lol. xD Good thing...

Darlene's back from the vets.
So, the surgery is gonna go ahead on Tuesday. Unfortunately, she’s also developed a pretty bad bladder infection from the stones, so she needs the surgery asap before the infection spreads to her kidneys. D:
Darlene might be getting her operation today.
She’s just gone off to the vets to see about getting it done. If it doesn’t happen today, hopefully it should be soon.
I’ll be glad when it’s done, cause it’s so annoying walking her when she has to stop to pee every few minutes. D8
I think I must have burned my tongue.
I had some really hot soup last night, and ever since the top of my tongue has been a bit numb and tingly. Must remember to wait a few minutes for it to cool next time. x__x

Might be going for a day-trip to France this...
My dad said if I wanted to, we could go go under the Channel tunnel for the day! Depends on how well I am at the time, but hopefully we can go.
I’ve never been outside of England before, so even though France isn’t high on my list of places to visit, it still sounds like it’d be a lot of fun to see a totally new country. @_@
